Originally from Waco, Texas… Rusty Hicks is a 1975 Graduate from Baylor University and is a Co-Founder of Combat Marine Outdoors. In 2010, he retired from 26 years of Officiating Men’s College Basketball for six NCAA Division I, 3 N.A.I.A. and 2 NCAA D2 Conferences. He currently serves as the Executive Director for Combat Marine Outdoors, the Vice President of the Board of Directors of Karl Young College Baseball where he is a member of the Hall of Fame and has been employed for 38 years by Harvey-Daco, a Promotional Products Company. Mr. Hicks is a 24 year veteran Football Referee in the Houston Area and has been the Featured Speaker at the Marine Corps Ball in Houston and Brazosport College Commencement Ceremony in 2012. On March 7, 2014, Rusty was awarded the rank of Honorary Colonel in the Army 75th Training Command by Maj Gen Jimmie Jaye Wells and Lt Gen James Talley. Mr. Hicks is a pilot, avid hunter and saltwater fisherman, sports official and dedicated to helping our wounded Marines, Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen. He is married to his wife, Martha, for 33 years, they have three children… Ray( 2006 graduate of Univ. of Houston), Ryan (2009 Graduate of Texas A&M-Galveston) and Jennifer (currently a Junior at Texas Tech) and two Grandchildren.
Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan… Alan Orr is a graduate of the University of Michigan. Upon completion of Officer Candidate School, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. During his military career, he has commanded several Firing Batteries, a Marine Corps Recruiting Station, an Artillery Battalion, and an Artillery Regiment. He is a graduate of the Marine Amphibious Warfare School in Quantico,VA, and the Field Artillery Officer Advanced Course in Fort Sill, OK. Col Orr is also a graduate, with honors, from the Marine Corps Command and Staff College, and the Army War College in Carlisle, PA. He holds several Masters degrees. Col. Orr has numerous combat tours from Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Somalia to Iraq. Today, Col. Alan Orr is serving on the faculty at the U.S. Army War College, and with great pride, is the President and Founder of Combat Marine Outdoors. Col. Orr’s interests are family and an extreme love of the outdoors… hunting, fishing, motorcycles and skeet shooting. He is married to Tina, his wife of 19 years and they have two sons, Alan III and Nicholas.

Originally from Beaumont, Texas …Randy is a founding partner of the CPA firm, Reimer, McGuiness & Associates, P.C. Mr. Reimer has completed the coursework at Rice University, Glasscock School of Continuing Studies and received his accounting degree from Sam Houston State University in 1981. He has been licensed as a certified public accountant since 1985. Mr. Reimer is a Certified Financial Planner and has completed all of the requirements of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. Mr. Reimer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of certified Public Accountants and the Houston Chapter of CPAs as well as the CFP Board of Standards. Randy is the Secretary and Treasurer for Combat Marine Outdoors. Mr. Reimer is married to his wife of 30 years, Kimberli and have two children, Chelsea and Ashleigh. He is a Church Leader/Teacher at Second Baptist Church in Houston. His interests are Baseball, Hunting & Fishing and Golf.
Master Gunnery Sergeant ( Retired ) Arturo G. Garcia is a retired U.S. Marine who served on active duty for over 24 years and is a Co-Founder of Combat Marine Outdoors. He was born in San Antonio, Texas and lives in Somerset, Texas. A small ranch between San Antonio and Laredo, Texas. Art G. Garcia entered the Marine Corps in January, 1988. Through the years, Master Gunny Garcia rose to the highest rank that an enlisted Marine can achieve as an E-9. Master Guns received his Combat Action ribbon for his deployment during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm where he served as a Combat Engineer and Machine Gunner with the First Marine Division (Task Force Pappa Bear). A 100% disabled combat veteran serving currently as the Outdoor Programs Director for Combat Marine Outdoors. Master Guns is considered by his wounded Marines as their most respected Mentor. A graduate from Wayland Baptist University in Business Management. Master Guns’ focus is GOD, Family, Hunting, and caring for our Wounded Warriors throughout America. He has four wonderful Children, U.S. Marine Corporal Jose Garcia married to Adela, Rebekah, Alfredo II, Arturo II, and grandaughter Abigail Garcia.
Colonel Ramos is a Dallas native who is currently serving in the Marine Corps Reserves. He received a BSBA degree from The Citidel, JD from St. Mary’s School of Law; Marine Corps Command & Staff College (non resident) and is attending the Naval War College where he is expected to graduate later this year. During his military career, he has served as a Marine Corps Judge Advocate and as an Infantry Officer. Colonel Ramos is currently a Commercial Litigator for the Dallas Law Firm, Ackerman & Savage, LLC
David is the President & CEO of American Bank in Waco, Texas where he is involved in many charitable organizations such as the United Way of Waco, the Coastal Conservation Association, the Waco ISD Adopt-a-School Advisory Board, the Waco Chamber of Commerce, the Waco Business League, and the Waco Industrial Foundation and now, Combat Marine Outdoors. He is a 1975 graduate of Baylor University where he was a member of the 1974 SWC Football Championship team. He is a member of the Waco ISD Sports Hall of Fame and was recently selected to the Waco Trib All Time Baylor Football Team. He is married to his wife of 36 years, Davina and has two daughters…. Adrienne Pulliam (Baylor Graduate) and Kelly Edwards (Texas A&M Graduate) both of whom reside in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Hicks’ outdoor interests are Saltwater Fishing and Bow Hunting.
